His career has been defined by building platforms from inception, managing portfolios through full market cycles, and leading complex organizational transformations.

At CIM Group, Garett scaled the firm's real estate credit platform to over $10 billion in assets under management between 2015 and 2024. He simultaneously led the build-out of the largest open-end Opportunity Zone Fund in the United States, raising over $2.5 billion in equity from global wirehouses, regional broker-dealers, and family offices.
